Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following each week…
• Describe one of your reading habits. • Tell us what book(s) you recently bought for yourself or someone else, and why you chose that/those book(s). • What book are you currently desperate to get your hands on? Tell us about it! • Tell us what you’re reading right now — what you think of it, so far; why you chose it; what you are (or, aren’t) enjoying it. • Do you have a bookish rant? Something about books or reading (or the industry) that gets your ire up? Share it with us! • Instead of the above questions, maybe you just want to ramble on about something else pertaining to books — let’s hear it, then
I was thinking all morning what I would muse about today — and I”m coming up empty handed… So I think I will gush about the new Book Tour site i’m starting to participate in and how awesome it is! I’m not sure if you all are familiar with Around the World ARC Tours – but if you have a blog and keep it updated with new content you can sign up to read/review books you mail from one reader to the next. This has given me a chance to get a lot of the larger name books that I could not have gotten myself probaby – so it’s super exciting. I didn’t realize how much I missed actually holding and having a paperback book – so many of mine are Ebooks that I get from Netgalley/etc and while that is super convenient and I love it, holding the actual book is nice too – just the smell of books, I know that sounds nuts..but it reminds me of why i love reading so much.
I’m on my 4th book right now and I have about 4 more on the way at this point and just really enjoying it. The site is run super well – you get the book, have 1 week to read and 1 to review, so you arn’t crunched for time – but it keeps you on target too and the schedule moving. I think it’s just a great opportunity, especially for those of us who are newer to blogging and don’t get ARC’s from the publishers themselves.. If you want to participate to check it out I’ll post the link below —
Anyway from the 4 books I’ve received so far – 3 have been great and 1 was a will not review (subject was NOT what I thought it would be at all).. You get 5 chances to not review a book each year and it resets in October I think..
Anyway – instead of book gushing today, I thought I’d gush about this and the amazing opportunity it is for anyone who wants to check it out!

Check it out – you never know –and if you get a lot of review ARC’s in paperback and want to share – we would love it and it’s very easy to do that too!!
